On Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at the Health Sciences Centre, Erika Bowes passed away at the age of 65 years. Erika grew up in Berlin, Germany. In 1961 she immigrated to Canada.
For over 35 years she worked for Lone Star Motors as an accountant. She was predeceased by her parents and two older brothers. Erika is survived by her husband Peter of Winnipeg, brother Rudi (Joan) and three nephews in Toronto. She will be missed by her many friends, especially her golf companions. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 2, at Westwood Community Church, 401 Westwood Dr. A special thank you to Dr. West, and the medical staff at the Department of Neurology, Health Sciences Centre.
