To our theatre supporters,
Trusting you enjoyed our first production of the season ‘Olive and Hilary’. The Cast, Crew and Director are to be congratulated on their hard work and commitment and for giving us all a most enjoyable theatre experience. Thanks also to April Gregora, Tom Holder and all who served us with humour and efficiency. A special thank you to Ann Scott for organizing the chicken and fries on the second Friday of the show.
Our next production ‘A Number’ is our entry into the Churchill Festival. This is a two person play written in 2002 by Caryl Churchill. It will feature two of our seasoned actors, Peter Hudson and James Bowman, directed by myself. It is a very intriguing play focusing on the issue of cloning. It was originally produced in London by the Royal Court Theatre (2002) and won the Evening Standard Award for best play. In 2004 the play made its American debut and starred Sam Shepard.
